NEW EMS POLICIES:

SHIFT COVERAGE: If a crewmember wishes to trade shifts or find coverage for an assigned shift, he/she shall try to do this with an EMT who has an equal or greater level of EMT certification. If this is not possible, then the crewmember may trade shifts or find coverage with any EMT authorized to take their slot (i.e. A-slot or B-slot). If an A-slot crewmember is looking for coverage (not looking to trade shifts) and their B-slot crewmember has an equal or greater level of EMT certification, that B-slot crewmember has the right of first refusal to bump up to the A-slot, but this B-slot crewmember would then be responsible for finding coverage for his/her vacated B-slot. The same would apply to a C-slot crewmember covering for a B-slot crewmember. Updated 9-28-07

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Oct 8, 2007, Ski Area Clinic seeking front desk personnel: The Ski Area Clinic asked me to e-mail EMTs with a job announcement. The SAC has two full-time openings for front-desk help. The positions will also include EMT work with patients. Pay starts at around $10/hour, depending on experience. Call Dr. Sherman's clinic at 349-0321 interested. Submitted by Ross Orton.
